Rainforest Foundation Japan (RFJ) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and supporting the Amazon rainforest and its indigenous people.
RFJ was founded in 1989 when Kayapo Chief Raoni and musician Sting came to Japan as part of their Rainforest World Tour to raise awareness of deforestation in the Amazon.

Rainforest Foundation Japan (RFJ) strives to protect the Amazon rainforest and support the Indigenous people who reside there.
We develop and manage projects that aid the local people and each year visit the area and share their daily lives with them.
Listen to the voices of the forest,
the river, the sky and the earth.
There are spirits in everything and they teach us many things.
If the forests disappear, the Indio will die.
And do not forget, you too will perish.
