  • 1989

    – Sting and Raoni, the Kayapo leader, toured fifteen countries for “Save the Rainforest World Tour” and Sting founded Rainforest Foundation International (RFI).
    – Rainforest Foundation Japan (RFJ) was established as an affiliate of RFI.
